Obviously, the iPad is a big Apple's success, no doubt. However, after being working hard with the Android platform, I'm convinced that Android based tablets will win the battle. Have you tried one? Has your opinion changed in any way about it? The iPad seems doing great, and since Google is thinking already in taking out an Android-based clone to compete for this market, this type of devices has potential. And regarding the iPhone OS vs. MacOS controversy, the device is great for what it does and for the niche market that it is tailored for. A Mac-like interface would have made it less simple, and that's all about the iPad, simplicity. I's not for geeky guys like us, who need a terminal window all the time within the reach of our hands, or who are constantly switching among dozens of applications running at once and using the keyboard instead of the mouse. It's great for my mom not having to call me every once in a while because she doesn't know where the attachment she just downloaded went to, or to ask what's that trojan horse alert about.
